STRONG: The heavy-duty ceramic magnets have a strong pull of 25 pounds on contact. This magnetic pull was determined by a vertical test. The pull is about 50% less when used on a vertical surface holding against a sliding force, and slightly less when used on painted steel.
NICKEL-PLATED STEEL: Each device is assembled from a nickel-plated steel channel and a ceramic (ferrite) magnet. The assemblies are made with 2 0.186" mounting holes (screws not included).
